Lonny Brewer Memorial Raffle
December 5, 2017, will mark the 30th anniversary of the tragic death of Deputy Lonny Gene Brewer. In honoring this hero, the Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, in conjunction with the Association of Special Enforcement, will be replacing his current headstone. His new headstone will be a 3′ x 6′ marble slab with a bronze inlay. All funds raised through this raffle will go to the cost of the headstone. Any funds raised above the cost of the headstone will go to the Deputy Sheriff’s Foundation’s Critical Incident Support Fund, which supports wounded deputies and their families in their time of need. Raffle tickets will be sold until November 7 with the drawing held on November 9. Winner will be notified and must claim prize within two weeks.
This raffle is a fundraising effort by the Deputy Sheriffs’ Association of San Diego County and Deputy Sheriff’s Foundation. Winner must meet all state and federal regulations. Gun must be transferred via the DSA or licensed FFL. Any winner who does not meet all legal requirements will forfeit winnings. To be eligible to win firearm you must be of legal age to own and purchase firearms in the State of California and pass all necessary background checks. The contest is not valid except where legal.
