Support Deputy Rudy Sanchez, Sr.

Deputy Rudy Sanchez, Sr., a 22-year veteran of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department, was involved a serious motorcycle accident in late September, leaving him paralyzed.  He was on his way to work when his motorcycle was hit by a pickup truck on northbound Interstate 805 south of the 47th street exit. The accident is still under investigation.

After multiple surgeries, Rudy remains paralyzed and bedridden. His recovery will be a long road, including hospital stays, surgeries, therapy, home renovation, and special transport needs. The Deputy Sheriffs’ Association is hosting a raffle to support his recovery. Rudy is a long-time member of the association. All funds raised in the raffle will be directed towards the Sanchez family.
